Christian and the girls drop me off for work on a regular basis these days. When doing so, I often hear the girls shouting out things to me. Normally even if I can't make out everything they're saying as I step away from the car, I can decipher the message based on what words I did manage to catch. Most days I decipher things like "Love you" or "Bye Mama" or "Good day". Today was a bit different. I closed the car door and turned to waive and smile. The rear windows were rolled down and I could see the girls' precious little smiling faces. They were waiving and as Christian drove away, I yelled "love you!". As I began to turn away I thought I heard "Panda Bear!" I chuckled to myself and thought "Oh, Tiff you must have heard that wrong."
This evening, Christian came to pick me up and asked "Did you hear what Eden shouted out to you as you were leaving this morning? I don't know if you've noticed, but she's been yelling it out to you for the past couple of mornings." I paused and smiled and asked "Um..no?" He said "She's been yelling out 'Climb a tree, Panda Bear!' every morning. I've asked her every morning what she's saying and she says 'I made it up. It means good luck' ".
Christian and I had a good laugh...only Eden. She's in her own little world, but at least it's a happy place with Panda Bears, after all. lol.
