With the new year, brings a new schedule for our family. It seems like 2010 was full of constant changes and unexpected things. It seems to have spilled over into 2011 somewhat.
I've been a "Full-time stay-at-home-mom" since October 1st and it seems with the holidays (or that was my excuse) that I never got into a good routine. I was so looking forward to getting that routine into place, but it would seem that God has other plans for me and my days. :)
Starting a few weeks ago, I was asked to become the new accountant for our print business(es). Christian owns and operates 4 businesses with his partner, Adam; The Print Factor, 859print.com, 502print.com, and HuskerPrint.com. Soooo off to the office I go. Granted, some things will and can be done from home, but a lot will be done at the office too. So for now, we're going to try me working at the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Christian will work from home and stay with the girls on those days. We did this last week, actually and it worked out OK. Both girls were alive when I got home...so that's a start. lol
If I'm being completely honest, I'm somewhat bummed that I'm having to step up and help out (sounds awfully unhelpful, eh?). I'm probably just a little sad and mourning the loss of the free time. Going into staying at home, you have all of these grand ideas of 'free time' and then what you're going to use that free time for. haha. Guess I'll just have to be picker about how I spend said "free-time".
Hope you are having a Happy New Year! :)
