Of course I have to blog on my birthday!  :)

Last night we were on our way to small group.  It was nearing dark and a few houses were already lit up with Christmas lights.  Eden, mesmerized by the lights squealed with excitement, "Look, Mama! Christmas lights! OOOOH!  And a Llama! Mama, it's a llama!"

A llama?!  I had previously been simply nodding and agreeing with her in my attempt to be the cautious driver that I am (please contain your giggles", but this got my attention.  I turned to look where she was pointing and felt compelled to correct her..."Um no, sweetie.  That's a REINDEER, not a llama". 

"ooooh", she replied and then without hesitation "Can I ride it?"

"No, honey.  We can't really ride reindeer and we certainly can't ride one  that's not ours". 

I chuckled to myself all the way to small group and shared it with them once I arrived.  I love the innoscence of children!  To think at one point I myself might have inquired about such a topic.  Soo cute.
