Air Violin!

I just created my very own playlist for my blog...I know you're appreciative of the music as you read.  :)

Now, anyone that knows me well knows I'm not afraid to rock it out in the car.  I'm a singer.  By that, I in no WAY mean I should sing, only that I *can*...lol.  I'm one of those people that thrives on having music in the background and as corny as it may sound...I go for the "Positive Alternative"...Air1 95.3.  You'll now have to check it out since I've made a plug for it.  Anyway, I really like it and I don't ever feel like I have to change the channel because there are curse words or something and most of the time I don't feel like i"m in church.  There's another one out there (Sorry, Mom) that's not quite as non-church to me and I feel like I'm singing hymns all day long.  Too "fluffy", maybe? I'm not sure what the word is, but anyways this station makes me feel like I can rock it out and still be lovin' Jesus.  lol

So since I'm a driver that does not go without the radio at all (and can't stand talk radio, thank you dear love of my life, hubby) - it would come as no surprise that Eden too loves music.  She frequently tells me she "can't hear the words" or "turn it up loud" or "let's jam, Mama".  She likes it that I sing along most of the time and wants me to "sing along, sing all the words, mama"...harder to do than you think when you have a 3 year old critiquing you! lol 

We do have our favorites and making my playlist made me think of the special song that's our current 'fav'.  This is for those who wait by FireFlight.  So, if you'll listen to the song there's a part about midway through when it's like a violin jam session.  Eden knows when it's coming and if you can imagine me with one hand on the wheel as my 'violin' and the other in 'bow formation'...she announces "here it comes, mommy!" and we both rock it out on our air violins.  She laughs hysterically afterward and it always puts us in a better mood.  What could be more fun than making a complete fool of yourself with your toddler?  Not much...
