This was tough. There have been so many things going on, it's hard to pinpoint just one thing that has taken up a lot of time or made a huge impact in my life recently. We moved from Versailles in July and quickly realized that our beloved home of Woodford Community Christian Church just wasn't a realistic commute. For those of you WCCC readers...be honest with yourselves. The Parsons aren't known for being on time - even when they lived 5 minutes away! LOL
We were tentative about the seemingly daunting task of finding a "home" that lived up to WCCC's standards. The Lord knew what he was doing when we were recommended this church by a friend. We visited a few others in the area and quickly realized this is where we wanted to call home. Though we're not "official" yet, we're enjoying getting plugged into ministries and getting to know people.
During this time in our lives where we're questioning everything, God has given this wooden raft to cling to. A little slice of heaven, a lifesaver if you will. When it's been cloudy or foggy in our lives, we can still see that lamp shining...that lighthouse. God has fully blessed our socks off through them. We are excited to see what else He has in store for us there.
They've just started a Georgetown Campus, which we plan to visit soon and they're also working on a Richmond Campus! If you wanna check out their web site, they have all of their sermons uploaded, which are all AWESOME!! Their web site is www.xroadschurch.org
