Not an awe-inspiring kind of post. Just a random one that I'm not feeling is evoking much creative writing on my part. I'm so behind in keeping up with our daily lives (laundry, cooking, cleaning), not to mention my memory-keeping (aka blogging) that if I run into one of these days of this 30 day challenge that aren't "sparkling"...I just don't feel it! Anywho, here's my most recent favorite book. I did like Dear John, but this one still stands as my most recent favorite. I'll be the first to admit I'm not an avid reader, but a true wanna-be. I find myself lost in real-life stories lately, thus the label of reality-tv junkie. lol When I was little though, I enjoyed stories that seemed "morbid" or "dark", but were really more like stories that could be real-life. Lurlene McDaniel's books were my passion. Especially in 6th grade during the summer when I broke my ankle. Les and I must have read a 15 books of hers. We swapped them and read them over again. Such good books!
