What's my most treasured item? I guess since it's an "item" it couldn't be my husband or kids or even my fury diva child, Daisy. So my mind automatically went to my pictures. I adore pictures and if there were a fire, I'd undoubtedly grab them first after grabbing my children and Daisy, of course! My scrapbooks that contain my pictures. But since those thing are hard to take a picture of, I decided on this...something that I use *every* day. CALENDARS.
OK, so I'm slightly cheating on this one. The above shown calendar is one I pulled from google images and not truly *my* calendar, though it looks very similar. I couldn't make it through a week without my dry erase calendar. I've always really enjoyed having a planner and decorating it. I actually save them all...I'm a dork, right? I like using colored dry erase markers and magnets on this one. My dream is to have it in vinyl and use creative fonts, etc. I actually at one point purchased a dry erase board that was extra extra large...as I just adore them, but the fact that it's a calendar too, makes is my most treasured item. I am very organized in certain aspects of my life, but those that know me best know I'm in all actuality, a wanna-be. I have a planner I carry, a dry erase board calendar as shown above, a calendar on my blackberry, and yes...an electronic web-based calendar that I use online. You can go to www.cozi.com and create your own. It'll send you text messages to remind you of things! Best part? It's FREE! I adore calendars of all shapes and sizes and I always have. Can't help it. When I was little and we were playing pretend, I used to only want to pretend to be a teacher or a secretary. LOL My poor bff was forced to make up a name to go by.
Tried to be a little more light hearted with this one and not quite so sappy....mission accomplished?
